Our Client is looking for long term cover for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer job role, based near Archway in London.
The hours are 7.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday & the pay rate will be up to £19 p/h.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer job role will involve:
Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance & additional works in a commercial building.
To undertake all works including some basic carpentry, electrics, plumbing, lighting, hvac & heating.
Assisting the building maintenance team, covering all faults & repairs, logging reports of all activity & incidents.
To respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues, & help desk requests, to respond to call outs, cover & breakdown emergencies when required.
To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the Client.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer job role will undertake basic preventative planned maintenance testing to Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting.
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer job role will:
Have a recognised Electrical qualification or be a trade qualified Electrician.
Have worked in a similar role as a Maintenance Engineer in a commercial building.
Have extensive knowledge of building maintenance & systems
Understanding of all aspects of breakdowns & reactive repair.
be client focused, hardworking, organised & have an ability to prioritise their work load.
Be confident with writing reports & the ability to read drawings would be a plus.
Someone with water treatment & project experience would be ideal.
