Assistant Facilities Manager | Bond Str. | £16.50p/h

Temporary job available for an Assistant Facilities Manager to start immediately. Working in a Grade II listed building based near Bond Street, London W1R. Pay rate offered for the Facilities Management job is £16.50 p/h. Working hours for the job is Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.

JOB DUTIES

The Facilities Management job will involve the following

  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will be responsible for executing plans of  maintenance schedules for the building facilities, improvement plans and reactive situations.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will take a hands on approach when dealing with maintenance requests and supervise maintenance works.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will undertake routine maintenance inspections & checks of the facilities.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will ensure compliance of fire and security regulations and ensure security procedures are adhered to.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the development of health and safety systems and procedures.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will manage cleaning contractors and ensure high high standards are maintained.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • The preferred candidate for the Facilities Management job will ideally have experience working in a similar job role, someone who has worked as Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Assistant or Facilities Manager in a estates or facilities environment. 
  • Preferably the Assistant Facilities Manager will have the ability to operate and understand electrical & mechanical systems & competent at basic building repairs and maintenance.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will have demonstrable compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will be able to perform the physical tasks required of the post, including lifting, carrying and pushing various equipment.
  • The Assistant Facilities Manager will have the ability to prioritise and manage workflow, whilst maintaining a flexible approach to respond to urgent requests.
  • Preferably the candidate will hold a DBS or CRB check for the Facilities Management job.

The Facilities Management job is located near to Bond Street Station, London W1R 1FE.
